Sex Offender Halloween Curfew

Any registered sex offenders on parole or probation cannot
leave their homes,
have their outside lights on
cannot answer the door if trick or treaters come knocking.The new law covers offenders currently on probation, not those who have completed probation.Guilford County Sheriff B. J. Barnes said his office has a map that shows where more than 500 offenders live.Anyone can log on to www.mapsexoffenders.com, enter your city and zip code and see if any convicted sex offenders live near you.
