Sex Offender Website Closed Because of Incorrect Information

The operator of a web site that mapped registered sex offenders in Utah has shut it down, after only a week.
The Utah Department of Corrections told him as many as two -thirds of the addresses listed may be incorrect.
The operator says he'd planned to launch similar web pages for other states, but now those plans are on hold.
