Sex offenders' crimes and addresses have been available for years at the state's online sex offender registry, but locating their whereabouts on a map has been confusing and time consuming until now.
Mapsexoffenders.com pinpoints all registered sex offenders.
Users can enter their exact address to search their own neighborhood, or use the zoom and scroll features to check out an entire city or state.
When a red bubble is clicked, the offender's picture, name and address appear. Simply click on the offender's name to be linked to the state site for more information on their crime.
The site is currently only available for 14 states, including Idaho and Wyoming.
